DESCRIPTION:Festival of Small Halls is a series of tours that takes the best folk and contemporary acoustic artists and sends them on the road to tiny halls in communities all over Australia. It is produced by Woodfordia Inc in partnership with many other wonderful Australian festivals\, regional partners and great lovers and supporters of folk and contemporary acoustic music. \nOpening the show will be Chloe Rose and Rebe Cunningham! \n\n\n\n\n\n\nChloe Rose is a student in Year 12 at St John’s School Roma. Her favorite music genres include musical theatre\, pop rock\, and indie folk. You may have recently caught her performance as the ‘Baker’s Wife’ in St John’s latest musical production of ‘Into the Woods’. Chloe also enjoys participating in local Roma & District Eisteddfods and aspires to continue pursuing performing arts in the future. \nRebe Cunningham is a 14 year old from Roma who loves performing character roles in songs and plays. In school musicals she played Jack (of beanstalk fame) in “Into the Woods” and Puck in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”. You can also spot rare and threatened species like the Gurulmundi Heath-myrtle or be shown plants such as tiny ground orchids that you might otherwise miss. \nOur botanist knows the best vantage points for take in the spectacular display of native flowering plants. You may also spot rare\, threatened species like the Gurulmundi heath-myrtle. \nTake as much time as you like to admire the floral displays while being treated to delicious outback tucker. The day is easy-paced and can be tailored to group needs and interests. After a day of exploring sit back and relax in the bus\, reflecting on the day that has been\, as we head back towards the township of Miles and Roma to your accommodation.
