The Maranoa Regional Council invites residents to attend Injune Creek Gallery’s Yimbaya Maranoa Exhibition.
From the creative minds of Vicki Saunders, Vernessa Fien, and Jude Taggart Roberts, former Maranoa resident, Yimbaya Maranoa is headed to the Injune Creek Gallery.
Friday 15 March to Friday 26 April, Remapping Mitchell Arts Collective welcomes you to enjoy the creative works inspired by the Maranoa and Gunggari families in the region.
Encouraging community participation, through a series of immersive gatherings on Country, the collective is creating a living archive of art-related works, stories and perspectives currently absent or less visible in contemporary and historical accounts of the region.
Opening 6pm Friday 15 March, come along for refreshments and enjoy the many pieces of art on display.
This is a free event with no RSVP needed.
