Opera Queensland presents Are You Lonesome Tonight, supported by Maranoa Regional Council and hosted at Western Queensland Spirit.

Are You Lonesome Tonight is Opera Queensland’s most ambitious regional tour in its 40-year history. After visiting over 30 communities and travelling more than 8,000 kilometres across Queensland, this remarkable show is now set to captivate audiences nationwide.

Pairing the timeless beauty of opera with the heartfelt storytelling of country music, Are You Lonesome Tonight features a repertoire of arias and songs by Puccini, Verdi, Slim Dusty, Dolly Parton, Troy Cassar-Daley, and more. This is not just a fusion of genres but a celebration of their shared themes – profound love, heartache, and triumph in the face of adversity.
